Let GoMet up with my sec. 2 classmates for lunch today... one of my friends was telling us that his close friend is not really taking his advice.. i shan't disclose what it's about but this incident (if you can call it one) is really troubling him... one advice i gave him was that he has to learn to let go... He had already done his part by advising his friend on the situation (if you really must know, it's about BGR) so if that guy is not responding positively to it, it's not your fault and it's not like you can do much else about it...
I'm sure this is incident is not the first of its kind.. Something i've observed about the people in this world is that they cannot accept things as they are... But then again, it's human to reject change... However i feel that if we keep rejecting the circumstances that we're put in, we're gonna end up as very bitter and miserable people... A popular saying goes as follows: If you don't like it, change it... It's true that if you really want a change, you must activate it... On the other hand, if everyone 'acts' to change stuff, the entire world will be 'destroyed'.. Which is why i won't be an activist in this lifetime... Imagine spending a large portion of your life on stuff like animal rights, environment protection etc... At the end of the day, all you're gonna do is raise awareness at best.. People are gonna be like 'i know i'm polluting the environment but i don't care'... A majority anyway... Furthermore, looking at the way activists 'raise awareness' nowadays, they can be sited as the main source of economic bubbles here and there... Protests and riots do nothing but cause more damage... Yes, i agree... 'Activate change' but the question is 'what change?' And then there is also the group of us who just sit around feeling miserable about your situation... Understandable that you're in pain and you're hurt... But sometimes when you think again, you'll realise that the problem lies with you... Problems are relative after all... It's only a problem if you want it to be a problem... Most of the time, we reject change because our brain cannot make sense of it and so becomes confused and frustrated... We must overcome this barrier and accept our circumstances as they are... Life's like that and we cannot change that fact... Change and chaos are never-ending... We just have to learn to LET GO and leave all else to God Almighty... Only by letting go can we truly live life a la carpe diem...
To the friend i mentioned above: Don't worry man... Just let God take care of things ya? He will surely understand what your intentions are soon... Relax and continue praying to Him ya?
